Washington County Work Group

UWM is committed to examining all possible options in response to a Washington County task force recommendation that UWM at Washington County merge with Moraine Park Technical College’s West Bend campus.

The UWM work group, composed of eight members from across the College of General Studies and university leadership, has sought extensive input from a range of community stakeholders and UWM faculty, staff and students. The work group submitted its final recommendations to UWM Chancellor Mark Mone on Aug. 24, 2023. The chancellor will be reviewing it with stakeholders during the fall semester.
