To declare a major, complete the following steps:

  1. Click on the Declaration of Major form button below. (Link leaves site.)
  2. Fill out the Declaration of Major form.
  3. Submit the Declaration of Major form.

What happens next?

  1. An undergraduate faculty advisor will receive your submitted request to declare Italian as a major and will contact you by email to schedule an appointment.
  2. During your appointment, you will discuss your interests and have an opportunity to ask any questions you have about the program. 
  3. Your request to declare Italian as a major will be approved (unless otherwise stated) and filed as part of your student record.
  4. You have officially declared Italian as a major! WELCOME to the Italian program!
