Milwaukee Harbor Maps

Researchers from the School of Freshwater Sciences mapped 42 miles of Milwaukee’s lower estuary, where Lake Michigan meets the city’s southern waterways, to find the homes of freshwater fish and help restore the Harbor.

Want real-time wave and weather conditions on Lake Michigan? We operate three  seasonal environmental monitoring buoys in Lake Michigan as part of the Great Lakes Observing System. Our buoy dashboard is updated every 10 minutes.
