NS Workshop: Experiences in Great Lakes Ethnobotany

June 20 @ 9:00 am - June 21 @ 3:00 pm

This introduction to Ethnobotany will help you identify the native plants in our area and relate native uses, virtues, and names. In addition to several walks and demonstrations, you will have short labs with barks, seeds, and roots to appreciate basic traditional skills. Several teas will be sampled from the different habitats we visit. You will also be able to review ethnobotanical literature for your future research.
