Indigenous Land Management Internship – Information Session

Wednesday, February 25 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

The Electa Quinney Institute and the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewer District invite students to learn about the Indigenous Land Management Paid Summer Internship, a 10‑week summer experience grounded in Indigenous ways of knowing, observing, and being with the land.

During this internship, students will explore how Indigenous communities in Wisconsin understand and care for the land through relational practices, stewardship approaches, and Indigenous knowledge systems. Participants will engage directly with natural environments while learning from community partners and land‑based educators.

Internship Highlights:

  • Open to students from all degree programs
  • Fully paid summer internship
  • 10‑week program: May 26 – August 7

Join us at the upcoming Information Session to learn more about the internship structure, expectations, and application process.
