Hamid Seifoddini, associate professor, industrial and manufacturing engineering, was a plenary speaker at the 9th North American Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM) in Washington, D.C. in June. He spoke at the session titled “Digital Manufacturing and Industry 4.0” and presented a joint paper, “Applications of Industry 4.0 Technologies in Digital Construction,” the first author of which is Benyamin Sadeghi.
Seifoddini also received the “Distinguished Outstanding Professor Award” from the IEOM Society in recognition of his research and teaching in cellular manufacturing.
