Steven Hardcastle

  • Researcher Emerit, Advanced Analysis Facility

Dr. Hardcastle retired in August of 2021 after a 32-year career at UWM. Hardcastle was Manager of the Advanced Analysis Facility (AAF) in the College of Engineering & Applied Science. The AAF is a core research and teaching facility that serves CEAS, UWM, and Industries in SE Wisconsin. His expertise is in surface chemistry and elemental analysis (XPS) and structures of bulk materials and thin films (XRD).
