Borrowing a Laptop or VR Headset
This program is designed to help computer science get through a course with appropriate technology. The department has a few Dell laptops and about twenty VR headsets, purchased with department, differential tuition, or donor funds. Requests must be submitted by an authorized instructor. Eligibility will be verified by the Dean of Students office.
Allow at least two weeks for the Dean of Students office to review the requests for eligibility and contact the Reserve Desk with the names of students who are eligible for CS equipment loans.
Priority is given eligible applicants who have demonstrated financial need, and have previously not borrowed a device. In cases where there is not enough equipment for all, preference will be given to those who have not borrowed equipment previously.
