Divyanshu Verma (’25 MS computer science and finance) is founder and managing partner of Milwaukee-based hedge fund Verma Research Capital (VRC). The company recently closed a $4.3 million funding round aimed at helping its clients invest in short-term quantitative and high-frequency trading and buy long-term equities, said Verma.

Central to his company is an LLM (large language model) Verma developed called AEGIS, an AI-based proprietary research platform that enables investment and valuation research that traditionally takes months to be completed in minutes.
