Professor Scott Adams led the four decades old exchange with Giessen University this year from our side. He taught a class on poverty and inequality.  This included measurements, international comparisons, the role of development, its relationship to climate change and the unique experience of the US.  Later in the summer Christoph Funk (MA 2015) came from Giessen to teach at UWM and present his research “The Intersection of Research Attention and Sustainable Development Goals.”
