Fulbright exchange student completes his PhD

Congratulations to Noureddine Echcharfi who completed his PhD in March at Mohammed V University of Rabat. Noureddine was a Fulbright student in our Department in 2017-2018 through the Moroccan-American Commission For Educational & Cultural Exchange. Noureddine works as an Economist in the Department of Economic Studies at Bank Al-Maghrib (Morocco’s Central Bank) and we wish him all the best.

Professor Rebecca Neumann sponsored him for his studies at UWM and served as co-advisor on his dissertation. She was able to attend his defense and continue their joint research thanks to the Niho Faculty Excellence Research Fund.
