John Schwendel wins the Perlman Prize

Prof. Heywood and John Schwendel

John Schwendel was awarded the Richard Perlman Prize for the year’s outstanding paper in Labor Economics. He won for his paper “INEQUALITY IN THE UNITED STATES: 1946-2015”.

The funds collected by Richard’s colleagues, students and past winners of his prize have recognized the best labor economics paper by a UWM student since 1999. We encourage contributions to the Richard Perlman Fund to support and enlarge this recognition of our outstanding student scholars and to commemorate Richard.
