Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett is a research fellow and the scientific lead for the Coronavirus Vaccines & Immunopathogenesis Team at the National Institutes of Health, National
Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Vaccine Research Center.
Her work focuses on respiratory virus pathogenesis and vaccine design. She and her team advanced the development of the first COVID-19 vaccines to enter clinical trials in the U.S. Read Dr. Anthony Fauci’s tribute to Dr. Corbett, which appeared in the February 17, 2021 issue of TIME magazine when Dr. Corbett was named to the TIME100 Next 2021 List.
