Tracy was promoted to associate professor with tenure in the Marketing area.

- Veena Brown has been elected vice president – leadership development for the American Accounting Association’s Leadership in Accounting Education section.
- The editorial advisory board of the Review of Corporate Finance has named Yianni Floros as guest editor of the special issue on “Information Environments and Firm Outcomes in the Era of AI, Machine Learning, and Social Media.”
- Dawei Jian has received an advancing research and creativity award from the UWM Office of Research.
- The July 14 issue of Harvard Business Impact includes an adaptation of Odai Khasawneh’s “When Students Get Lost in Your Course Technology” column.
- Val Sibilkov was featured on WUWM 89.7, Milwaukee’s NPR, “How to Evict Your Landlord.
- Keimei Sugiyama received an outstanding reviewer award from the Academy of Management Review (a UT Dallas journal) for 2026.
