The journal Information Systems Research (ISR) has recently made two announcements related to Lubar College of Business faculty in information technology management. ISR is a leading peer-reviewed, international journal focusing on theory, research, and intellectual development for information systems in organizations, institutions, the economy, and society.

Mariam Zahedi

Professor Emerita Fatemeh “Mariam” Zahedi’s article “The Pfishing Funnel Model: A Design Artifact to Predict User Susceptibility to Phishing Websites” (co-authored with Ahmed Abbasi, David Dobolyi, and Anthony Vance) was chosen by the editors of Information Systems Research (ISR) as 2021 Best Paper. Dr. Zahedi is internationally recognized for her research, including combining theories behavior research and design science to address issues related to web-based systems, interface design and ontology, web/data mining and analytics, and intelligent systems and personalization. 

Huimin Zhao

ISR has also announced the reappointment of Huimin Zhao, Professor of Information Technology Management, to the position of Associate Editor. Dr. Zhao is a prolific scholar whose research interests are in the areas of data mining and healthcare analytics. His current research focuses on the fusion of multisource, multimodal data for predictive analytics. He also currently serves an Associate Editor at the Journal of Business Analytics.
