Cole Stratton

Cole joined the Lubar College in 2024, bringing years of private sector experience in retail, customer service, construction, and manufacturing industries. He received his MA in Journalism, Advertising and Media Studies (JAMS) from UWM, and a PhD in Media Studies from Indiana University. During his doctoral program, Cole helped found the Media School Grad Association, served as Chair of Professional Development, and as Program Manager for the Cultural Studies Program. He has also taught a range of undergraduate courses including Media Industry and Management, Advertising and Consumer Culture, and History of Video Games.
