Mrs. Reinholz specializes in teaching personal finance and comprehensive financial planning, bringing a strong applied focus shaped by her professional experience as a financial advisor. Her expertise includes retirement planning, investments, tax strategies, estate planning, and a wide range of insurance topics, particularly life insurance and long term care coverage. Mrs. Reinholz emphasizes goals based and values driven financial decision making, helping students understand how personal priorities translate into effective budgeting, cash flow management, and long term planning strategies. Through projects, case studies, and client style analyses, she integrates CFP® Board–aligned content and guides students in developing the analytical, ethical, and practical skills essential for delivering high quality financial planning advice.

Professional Activities

Mrs. Reinholz's professional background spans wealth management, retirement planning, higher education, and community leadership. She worked for more than 12 years in the financial services industry as a financial advisor and associate wealth management advisor at Northwestern Mutual, applying the same planning principles she now teaches to help clients navigate investments, retirement strategies, insurance decisions, and comprehensive financial planning.

Earlier in her career, Mrs. Reinholz focused on 401(k) and retirement plan recordkeeping and administration through roles at Hewitt Associates, Harley Davidson, and Time Insurance, gaining practical insight into employer sponsored benefits and participant decision making.

She has also served at the board level for several organizations, including her church’s finance committee and parish council, treasurer and president of the Mequon Thiensville Orchestra Parents, treasurer of Reagan Arts Partnership, president of River Birch Place Condominium Owners Association and other community groups.

In higher education, Mrs. Reinholz has taught at the former Cardinal Stritch University and Marquette University, where she developed numerous finance and financial planning courses, including foundational curriculum for a new CFP® Board–registered program.  Her professional activities reflect a commitment to applied learning, ethical leadership, and strengthening both student and community financial well being.
