Whether you're a seasoned performer, a behind-the-scenes enthusiast, or simply someone who loves the art of theatre (like all of us here!), we have an exciting event just for you. It's called "The Green Room and Beyond," and it's completely FREE.
The UWM Wind Ensemble & Symphony Band will perform on respective halves of this concert. Both the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Band regularly perform repertoire ranging from the Renaissance to the present.
For its opening concert, Chamber Music Milwaukee celebrates the late composer Yehuda Yannay (1937-2023). Yehuda taught composition at UW-Milwaukee and enjoyed an international career spanning six decades. UWM faculty and guests will perform a sample of Yehuda's chamber music including his piano trio, Hidden Melodies for horn and cello, Tandem pieces for horn and Bayan and The Exquisite Viola transcribed for solo violin.

Please join us for the Crossing Over exhibition showcasing work created by undergraduate Sophomore through Senior students of UWM Peck School of the Arts, Department of Art & Design who have received a departmental scholarship award in 2024.
The UWM Wind Ensemble will perform during the annual UWM Middle School and High School Honors Band and Orchestra Festival weekend. The concert is open to all of our supporters and is free for the participating festival students and one guest. The program will be a showcase of our outstanding UWM Wind Ensemble!
