Biography
Tenor David Hoffman has performed on stage in a variety of roles throughout the Midwest and Eastern United States. Highlights include roles in Die Fledermaus, Die Verschworenen, The Girl on the Train, La chanson de Fortunio, Le nozze di Figaro, and Evita. In Germany, he performed the role of The Seeker in the European premier of Stephen Rush’s multimedia opera vidGod. In the Chicago area he has worked with the Chicago Folks Operetta, Da Corneto Opera Company, Sinfonietta Bel Canto, Chicago Symphony Orchestra Chorus, and regularly performs with the cabaret group Opera Inter Alia. In addition to the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee he is on faculty at the Theater Conservatory faculty at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.
He is a certified Master Trainer in the Estill Voice Model.
