Alum Kristina Saldarelli (MFA 2023, Dance) is planning to open Saldarelli Arts Dance where Movement & Sound Dance was located. Saldarelli was a faculty member at the Buffalo Grove-based studio for seven years and will honor the space by picking up where the previous owners left off.
In the Daily Herald article by Steve Zalusky, Saldarelli explains the process of creating the new studio and how she plans to continue providing dancers with a top-tier education.
“Dance education and performance has been my life’s work for over 25 years. I’ve worked with every age and stage of students, including in higher education as an adjunct professor of dance,” she said.
