The Conference Center was designed with the comfort of the adult learner in mind. Classrooms have ergonomically designed chairs and soft, cushy seating makes up the adjacent lounge areas. Restful color schemes and natural light abound throughout the facility. Our 16 conference and meeting rooms will accommodate groups from 8 to 200 in a variety of room configurations. Each room has adjustable temperature controls and the entire facility is equipped with free Wi-Fi access.
Our outstanding downtown meeting location is available for other UWM and UW-System offices and outside for-profit and nonprofit organizations for professional training and continuing education and other programs of an educational nature.
Daily usage fees cover room use and set up during our standard operating hours. Additional charges will apply after hours and on weekends. View the Room Usage Rates PDF below for current rates.

Parking Rates & Locations
Convenient and ample parking for the conference center is available in the attached Shops of Grand Avenue parking structure. The structure is easily entered from Plankinton Avenue between Wisconsin Avenue and Michigan Street.
The Conference Center provides all guests a parking discount for those who park in the Grand Avenue structure. Please bring your parking gate ticket to the 7th floor reception desk to have it validated. The validation entitles you to the special UWM rate of $6/day, regardless of day of the week, time of day or length of stay (except overnight parking).
In addition, meeting organizers have the option to pay for half or all of the parking costs so that guests may pay $3 or nothing when they leave. Arrangements for covering guest parking should be made with the Conference Services Office.
PLEASE NOTE: Overnight parking in the Shops of Grand Avenue structure is not covered by the School of Continuing Education validation and will result in additional cost.
