An update from the Office of the Chancellor:

UWM has received concerns this week regarding our multicultural offices. We have been discussing the organization of our multicultural offices with the goal to improve our multicultural students’ experiences. As we develop these enhancements, we want to assure our campus and the community that we are not closing centers that support student success, nor are we removing office signs or eliminating safe spaces for students. We have sought input from a wide array of voices in our discussions, and as we finalize plans to make UWM’s multicultural centers even better, we will share those details.

UWM is committed to the success of our multicultural students – this is and will continue to be a high priority.
