In May 2018, Skype for Business will begin to replace most of UWM’s current landline telephone service. The transition will be managed by University IT Services and will be incremental, taking place on an area-by-area basis. Campuswide implementation is expected to take 12 to 18 months.
Skype for Business is an extension of Microsoft’s Office 365 and provides digital telephone, instant messaging and audio and video conferencing.
