CommuteWISE Spring

Try the Spring Roll Challenge and Perhaps Win up to $150

This spring, try something new on your commute. CommuteWISE is all about expanding your travel options beyond driving alone—helping reduce congestion, improve air quality, and make everyday trips more flexible and cost-effective.

The Spring Roll Challenge runs April 15–30, 2026 and is open to anyone in Southeastern Wisconsin. Whether you walk, bike, take the bus, carpool, or work from home, every trip counts.

How it works

Sign up at UWM’s private CommuteWISE network, log your trips, and explore different ways to get where you need to go. You can mix and match modes depending on your day—bike when the weather is nice, carpool when it works for your schedule, or take the bus to sit back and relax.

Why participate?

Spring is a great time to reset your habits and take advantage of longer days and milder weather. Even small changes, like walking once a week or sharing a ride, can add up. By trying different options, you can:

  • Save money on gas and parking
  • Reduce stress and enjoy your trip
  • Add movement to your day
  • Support cleaner air in our Region
  • WIN up to $150 gift cards in the Spring Roll raffle when you log your trips

About CommuteWISE and the Spring Roll Challenge

CommuteWISE is a free transportation planning and carpool-planning platform offered by Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (SEWRPC). SEWRPC is running the Spring Roll contest, which is not affiliated with UWM. UWM offers faculty/staff and students the opportunity to join CommuteWISE to organize their commuting needs.
