The exact name may vary based on the device. The Umo App notifies you that it wants to know your location, to assist you with transit options in your area. Tap Allow Once – to allow the Umo App to determine your location initially. Tap Allow While Using App – to allow the Umo App to always recognize your location while you’re using it Select Don’t Allow – to block the Umo App from determining your location! We don't recommend this setting since it can interfere with finding nearby routes and buses. Tap Continue and make your location selection. Select Allow to get live updates and allow notifications for real-time transit alerts, service updates and more. Tap Set up now to set up your account to buy your transit fares and get moving. Enter your mobile number or register with your email or an existing Umo card instead. You should enter your UWM.EDU email address. If you use another email address (such as GMAIL or OUTLOOK), you may have issues with your benefit code. If you entered your mobile number, a 4-digit code is texted to you: you will have to enter this code on the app and hit Continue to finish registering. You will have to log in with your UWM account to verify your identity. Your login is your UWM.EDU email address and password. You may be asked to complete multifactor authentication as part of the login process. Once signed in you can access the U-PASS Activation Request form. Please try again tomorrow to receive a benefit code. If it has been at least two days since you have registered classes or you urgently need a UPASS, please contact uwmpark@uwm.edu for assistance. Enter the Benefit Code (minus the MCTS prefix). Click Continue. It will show up as successful.
