Spring 2026 Essential Parking & Transit Information

You can now request a Spring 2026 benefit code. You must redeem a benefit code each semester you are enrolled to keep using your bus pass.


All student parking permits are sold out. Students can register for the UPARK Park & Ride at Capitol Humboldt; students who pay segregated fees as part of tuition can register for free.


Employees who need a parking permit can purchase one for the Pavilion/Klotsche Garage, NWQ Garage, or Lots 7 and 20 SARUP/Cunningham.

Go Riteway

GoRiteway transportation group has an established contract with the General Mitchell International Airport for direct airport shuttle service. Use of the online portals below provides UWM affiliated riders a 10% discount.

Badger Bus

Badger bus is a method of transportation to Madison and back to the UWM campus.

The general Badger Bus Schedule is available online at Badger Bus Schedule. Please note the general schedule does not indicate the Friday and Sunday service directly to the UWM campus. More information at Badger Bus.

Wisconsin Coachlines/Coach USA

Students are eligible for a $1 fare discount from the normal fare when they show a valid student ID. Prices vary based on where you board the bus. The normal one-way fares are $3.75 and $4.50, so student fares are $2.75 and $3.50. Students can purchase a ticket book worth 10 rides by calling 262-542-8861 with a credit card and purchases will be mailed to them. Riders can also pay the one-way fare into the fare box when boarding the bus.

Transit Plus

Transit Plus may be contracted to provide service to individuals whose disabling illness or condition prevents them from riding the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) buses.

Bublr Bikes

Bublr Bikes is on campus and in the surrounding neighborhoods! Through the efforts of the UWM Student Senate, students can get a Bublr permit for $20.00 annually. Eligible students must be enrolled and use their UWM email address to register. After registering, Bublr will mail a key fob for use to the address on record, or you can download their app.

All members of the community can utilize Bublr. Different rates are available depending on different needs.
