Now Available: MacOS 13 Ventura

MacOS 13 “Ventura” is now available as an optional upgrade for all eligible UWM-owned Macs. For your convenience, upgrades to macOS are made available through Self Service for all eligible devices. If you have questions about this upgrade, please contact the UWM Help Desk.

The macOS 13 Ventura upgrade is compatible with:

  • iMac, iMac Pro – 2017 and later
  • MacBook Air – 2018 and later
  • MacBook Pro – 2017 and later
  • Mac Pro – 2019 and later
  • Mac Studio – 2022 and later
  • Mac Mini – 2018 and later
  • MacBook – 2017 and later

All UWM-owned Macs capable of running macOS 13 will need to be upgraded to Ventura prior to the start of the Fall 2023 semester. All Macs that cannot run macOS 13 will be upgraded to macOS 12 Monterey.

Devices that cannot upgrade to macOS 12 Monterey prior to the start of Fall 2023 semester will need to be retired. For a complete list of new features available in Ventura, please visit https://www.apple.com/macos/ventura/features/.
