Intro to Stained Glass Session 2

Class participants will choose their own colors for a sunrise pattern which they will be able to then assemble to make a hanging piece.
Surrendur
Surrendur transmits the stories of Mike Forcia (Bad River Anishinaabe), who orchestrated the 2020 toppling of a Christopher Columbus monument in Minnesota, and Ta Pe'juta Wičháȟpi Win (Hunkpati Dakota Oyate), whose political consciousness was awakened while dancing around the fallen statue with her daughter.

Fibers Made Easy: Granny Squares Session 3
Interested in learning the foundations of crochet? Granny squares are a great place to build or hone skills in fiber art! Individual squares can be displayed or combined to create larger objects like scarves, blankets, or clothing pieces! Join us for this one-night course, to learn the basics, including successfully selecting yarn, reading a pattern, planning your project, and creating foundation stitches! Fiber arts like crochet and knitting are a great tool to manage stress and anxiety and an even greater way to meet people while engaging in a fun communal activity.

Over two sessions, participants will design, ink, and print their unique plates while experimenting with this sustainable and versatile printmaking technique. Whether creating abstract or representational imagery, everyone will leave with a collection of original prints ready to display and share.
