Glazing Techniques Session 1

Learn basic techniques of surface decoration on ceramic forms! This course will cover underglaze techniques such as stenciling, shaving cream swirl, and Mishima inlay, as well as overglazing processes such as dripping, brushing, and marbling. We will dive right in, so students should bring pre-bisque pieces from ceramic workshops or personal practice to work on. Some smooth surfaces and others with carving or texture are recommended!
