Public Health MS/MPH Admission Requirements

We will only review applications submitted via SOPHAS – the centralized application service for public health.

Deadlines for Fall 2025 Enrollment

• Priority Admission Deadline: December 1, 2024
• Final Application Deadline: July 15, 2025

International Students

• Application deadline of March 15, 2025 for Fall 2025 start.
• English language proficiency requirement 
• International admissions

Deadlines for Spring 2026 Enrollment

• Priority Admission Deadline: October 1, 2025
• Final Application Deadline: January 1, 2026

Requirements

1. GRE required for MS in biostatistics only.  Use GRE code 1780. Request a waiver by emailing zcph-info@uwm.edu.
2. Current resume or CV.
3. Personal statement.
4. Three letters of recommendation from people familiar with your academic experience and potential for graduate work in public health.
5. Official transcripts from all college-level institutions attended sent directly to SOPHAS. For information on how to send your transcripts to SOPHAS, follow this link.
6. Minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75
