We’re dedicated to making your transition to the Zilber College as smooth as possible and showing you how your classes fit into the sequencing of classes. Once you transfer to UWM, you’ll follow the degree requirements in place at the time of admission.

Our advisors are assigned by program, giving you expert information about the student experience in your chosen major.  

Please bring or send a copy of your unofficial transcript (from all institutions) to your first appointment. 

  • While many students use the Transfer Equivalency Database or  Transferology for a peek at how courses may transfer, our advisors bring you the latest information as programs and requirements change over time.   
  • It’s never too early to contact us; we often work with students several semesters before actually attending UWM. 
  • Contact us for an unofficial evaluation of your completed or in-progress credits from other accredited U.S. colleges and universities.
  • Since this is an unofficial evaluation, not an application, credit counts may change once you officially apply to UW-Milwaukee. We are unable to unofficially evaluate transcripts from foreign institutions or unaccredited institutions. 

In general, transfer students are required to have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA to be considered for admission. Exceptions are considered for students who earned below a 2.0 CUM when those grades are more than seven years old.
