I have been with the UWMPD for 17 years.
Why Campus Law Enforcement?
Working for a University is uniquely special because many members of our community are experiencing their first moments of independence as adult. This gives us in the police department a great opportunity to provide them with a safe environment as they learn and grow into productive members of our society.
How did you choose this career path?
I started working for UWM in 2005 as a security officer, thinking that it would be a temporary job, but quickly realized I loved the feeling I felt knowing that I can help someone in their moment of crisis.
What’s been the most rewarding part of the job thus far?
Knowing that I can play a small role in helping someone, in one of their most difficult moments know that they are not alone.
What is a Fun Fact about yourself?
I play multiple instruments, I like to travel, I work on the community outreach team at my local church, I love the Milwaukee Brewers and spending time with family and friends.
