Our team is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone who lives, learns, and works on our campus. We are proud to serve a diverse and vibrant community, and we are committed to building trust through transparency, accessibility, and collaboration.

Campus safety is a shared responsibility. We encourage you to stay informed, look out for one another, and take advantage of the many safety resources available to you—from our 24/7 police services to emergency alerts (Rave), accessible blue light phones scattered throughout campus, and community engagement opportunities.

If you see us out and about, please don’t hesitate to say hello. We value your input, your concerns, and your partnership in keeping UWM a safe and welcoming place for all.

Wishing you a successful and safe academic year.

Sincerely,

Chief Brian Switala
