Clinical and Translational Science Institute of Southeast Wisconsin
The Clinical and Translational Science Institute of Southeast Wisconsin (CTSI) is a unique academic-community partnership between four area academic institutions: Medical College of Wisconsin, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and Marquette University; three local hospitals; and Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin. CTSI provides an innovative infrastructure to support and advance education, collaboration, and research in clinical and translational science.
Center for Urban Population Health
Seeks to advance population health research and education to improve the health of urban communities. The Center for Urban Population Health is a destination where researchers can lead innovative, community-connected population health research and education.
Socially Responsible Evaluation in Education
Partners with education agencies to conduct rigorous evaluations and research on issues relevant to providing students from all backgrounds with equitable education opportunities.
UWM Prototyping Center
A fully-equipped machine shop located at the UWM Innovation Campus that provides product development, prototype creation, and fabrication services for businesses, researchers, and entrepreneurs across a variety of industries.
UWM Innovation Accelerator
Home to one of the most advanced prototyping centers in the Midwest, the UWM Innovation Accelerator is a facility designed to foster collaborations between academia and Industry. Engineers and machinists at the Accelerator work on a fee-for-service basis to help startups and large companies alike design and fabricate devices or parts for their products. The Accelerator is also home to nearly a dozen startup companies that need specialized equipment or laboratory space.
