Finding funding opportunities is a critical component of advancing research and innovation. The Office of Research Development Services (ORDS) can help you strategically identify funding sources to accomplish your research goals.

Research Funding Listservs

ORDS uses PIVOT-RP to curate and distribute lists of federal and non-federal research funding opportunities to UWM researchers. The listservs are organized by the following disciplines:

  • Natural & Biomedical Science and Engineering
  • Arts, Humanities, and Architecture
  • Social Sciences, Education, and Business

UWM researchers are automatically subscribed and receive these listservs periodically via their UWM email. The email links subscribers to the detailed funding opportunities in PIVOT-RP.

ORDS manages a suite of grant programs to support research and creative activities and the dissemination of results. The programs provide funding for travel to present research and attend conferences, develop research and creative initiatives and public service projects, and resubmit high-scoring unfunded proposals.
