Zilber Family Foundation awarded UWM University Partner Award in 2023

The Zilber Family Foundation was founded in 1961 by Joseph J. Zilber, founder of Zilber Ltd., a residential and commercial real estate firm. In 2007, Joe Zilber announced a $10 million gift to create the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Zilber College of Public Health, Wisconsin’s only nationally accredited college of public health. Since then, hundreds of students have graduated from the college. In July 2023, the Zilber Family Foundation gave an additional $20 million to support the Zilber College; it was the largest gift in UWM’s history.

Given by the UWM Alumni Association, the University Partner Award recognizes an organization with a major impact on UWM alumni.
