An estimated 1.7 million cases of cancer will be diagnosed this year in the U.S., according to the American Cancer Society. Three UWM professors have teamed up to create drug compounds to fight the disease. The university’s Milwaukee Institute for Drug Discovery is proud to be a part of the fight against cancer on World Cancer Day and every day.
