The UWM women’s basketball team will host its second annual Pride Night Dec. 20 in a matchup with Florida State at the Klotsche Center.
Working with UWM’s LGBT Resource Center, Milwaukee Athletics will be accepting donations that will go to Courage MKE, a Milwaukee nonprofit that assists homeless youth within our community. With a minimum $5 donation, fans will receive a special edition Pride shirt.
Fans can also make other basic need donations such as shampoo, toothpaste, socks and hand warmers for Courage Kits, which will be handed out to homeless LGBT youths by Courage MKE.
Fans can receive special discounted tickets online with the code MKEPRIDE18.
Florida State, a perennial power in the Atlantic Coast Conference, has earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament in 13 of the last 14 years.
