The Women’s & Gender Studies Department is accepting submissions for its annual Student Research Paper & Project Contest.
In celebration of Women’s History Month, the department is hosting a contest for undergraduate and graduate research papers or projects having to do with women, gender, sexuality, feminism or feminist thinking which were completed at UWM during the previous year. Prizes are awarded in four categories: Undergraduate Research Paper, Undergraduate Project, Graduate Research Paper and Graduate Project.
Students can submit on their own. Instructors are encouraged to nominate student work they find to be particularly meritorious.
The deadline for submissions is Thursday, Feb. 15. The contest winners will be recognized at the Women’s & Gender Studies Student Awards Ceremony in March.
