Sarah Riforgiate (Department of Communication) and Amy Mangrich (Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning) will accept the Social Learning Innovator Institution of the Year Award for UWM from Hypothesis on Oct. 17.
This award resulted from research indicating that pairing open education resources and Hypothesis, an online annotation tool, increase student engagement. The OER initiative is a partnership between UWM Libraries and CETL led by Mangrich and Kristin Woodward (Libraries).
