Many UWM students also care for the basic needs of others, such as a child, sibling or grandparent. Those caregiving students are asked to take part in a campus-wide survey on their experiences as a student caregiver.
The study aims to assess the experiences, demographics and needs of caregiving students at all three UWM campuses. The findings will provide the UWM with an understanding of the caregiving population and how to create a more inclusive environment.
Any information students share is anonymous; names and other identifying information will not be collected. Participation is voluntary, but appreciated.
Rachel Kubczak, of UWM’s Student Parent Success Program, and Michael Levandoski, a graduate student in the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare, are leading the survey. If you have any questions, contact Rachel Kubczak at vanderw7@uwm.edu or 414-251-5955.
The survey takes about 15-20 minutes to complete. Find the survey at this link.
