In light of health and safety concerns, the May 16, 2021, UWM Commencement will be a virtual celebration. Speakers are being confirmed and will be shared soon on the UWM Virtual Graduation page.
While COVID-19 data in Wisconsin appears hopeful, there remains considerable caution and uncertainty surrounding large gatherings until a significant number of the general public is vaccinated. Marquette University is also holding a virtual commencement, and Summerfest is adjusting its calendar to accommodate vaccination administration.
The virtual ceremony will be streamed online at 10 a.m. on May 16 and will be available for viewing anytime afterward. Questions about caps, gowns and regalia can be directed to Herff Jones Customer Service at 800-837-4235. General questions about commencement can be sent to secofunv@uwm.edu.
