Save the dates for Fall Welcome 2025 — UWM faculty and staff are encouraged to volunteer to help out as we welcome students to campus in August. Events start Aug. 25 and stretch to mid-September. Join hundreds of employees and students who volunteer at the start of each academic year.
Here are timelines:
- Panther Transition Experience: Monday, Aug. 25; Wednesday, Aug. 27-Friday, Aug. 29
- Move-In: Tuesday, Aug. 26-Thursday, Aug. 28
- Fall Welcome: Monday Aug. 25-Monday, Sept. 15
See the sign-up sheets at this link. More than 250 shifts are available. Some of these include assisting with move-in, assisting with the Class Photo and taking part in various signature events. Opportunities to support Ask Me areas will become available in the weeks ahead.
We ask that you sign up for one University Housing Move-In shift and one Signature Event or Panther Transition Experience shift as your schedule allows, with Housing needing the most support. If needed, please work with your supervisor to help staff these critical shifts.
