UWM students are invited to register for this fall’s “Hack for Health” event, from Nov. 10-15 at Northwestern Mutual headquarters in Milwaukee.
Teams of students from UWM, Marquette University and the Medical College of Wisconsin will compete as part of a challenge on “The Impact of Social Determinants on Life Expectancy in Specific Milwaukee Neighborhoods.”
The event kicks off at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 10, and ends with presentations and awards ceremony on Nov. 15. The hackathon is sponsored by the Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute, Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin, the Clinical and Translational Science Institute and the Milwaukee Bucks. UWM is part of NMDSI.
