The Southeastern Wisconsin Caregiving Symposium will explore the needs of the most hidden and vulnerable caregivers – children, youth and young adults.
Led by Melinda S. Kavanaugh, professor of social work at UWM, the symposium will cover topics including caregiving advocacy, laws and policies affecting family caregivers.
The event will take place on Monday, Oct. 13, from 8:30 a.m to 4 p.m. in the UW-Milwaukee Student Union Ballroom. The cost is $25 to attend, and participants will earn 6 CEHs. Please register online by Monday, Sept. 29.
