UWM offers numerous in-person professional development opportunities to our employees. Some of these opportunities are presented through the Office of Human Resources, including mandatory training modules for supervisors. The in-person opportunities offered through the Office of Human Resources, including mandatory training modules for supervisors, were suspended with the onset of the pandemic.
The spring 2021 semester will be an important training semester for UWM employees. All faculty and staff will be expected to complete UWM Anti-Bias, Anti-Racist Training; UW System Mandated Reporter Training; and for some, additional installments of UW System Sexual Harassment (Title IX) Training and Information Security Training. In order to allow supervisors and employees to focus their efforts on completion of these important mandatory trainings, professional development modules presented through the Office of Human Resources will remain suspended through the spring semester with a goal of reinstituting offerings in Fall 2021. This includes the mandatory training modules for UWM supervisors.
