The Panther Scholarship Portal is now accepting applications for the 2023-24 academic year. The portal is the spot to find and apply for most scholarships offered at UWM.
All schools and colleges, as well as many academic departments and programs, offer scholarships for students based on several factors, including academic merit, leadership and service.
Students must update, sign and submit the Panther Scholarship Portal General Application to be considered for scholarships. If students have previously submitted a general application and/or school/college/department application, most of those responses will carry forward to this new awarding cycle. However, some questions require new responses. Students are encouraged to submit the general application by Dec. 1.
While many UWM scholarships are auto-matched and don’t require any additional action, students should complete the general application — most review committees look at the information provided on the application to select recipients.
New scholarship applications open up throughout the year, so be sure to visit the Panther Scholarship Portal periodically to stay up to date with opportunities. Students also are encouraged to check their UWM email for announcements about open applications.
