Because of the introduction of Workday, the Universities of Wisconsin will be decommissioning the OBIEE application. The Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) is a business intelligence (BI) platform that helps gather, store and visualize data, offering features like interactive dashboards, ad hoc queries and enterprise reporting. The UWs use BI to help make strategic decisions across various levels.
Here are some key dates:
- July 2025: OBIEE HR/Finance reports will no longer be populated with new data.
- July 1: OBIEE application site will no longer be available for access to UWM student data reports.
Many areas on campus use data from OBIEE reports for several business processes, including communications and compliance issues. Though some data reports will continue to be available after July 1, many student-level reports will not be re-created.
