Faculty and staff are encouraged to nominate students to be Panther transition leaders, a new position that will help support Fall Welcome and give students in the role a sense of what it’s like to welcome new UWM students to campus.
The transition leader role is a short-term, entry-level employment opportunity, and students will be trained by UWM orientation leaders. The transition leader role will help students have a significant effect on their peers’ success and is a great entry into more extensive leadership and employment opportunities on campus.
Transition leaders are paid $11 per hour and may move into residential housing early in Fall 2023.
