NMDSI program to consider use of AI in analyzing electrocardiograms

The Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute (NMDSI) will host “Transparent AI for Detecting Atrial Fibrillation in Electrocardiograms,” as part of its regular virtual speaker series on Friday, June 6, from 10-11 a.m.

Hear from Dr. Jake Luo, director of Health Care Informatics graduate program at UWM and an NMDSI-affiliated faculty member, about how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing patient care by enhancing diagnostic accuracy and transparency. Luo will highlight innovative AI advancements that enable clear and precise detection of atrial fibrillation in electrocardiograms, providing clinicians with a detailed view of the model’s insights.
